Two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 cars participated in the Pirelli World Challenge GT races at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on May 18 & 19, 2013. Peter Le Saffre drove the #33 Green Hornet racing SLS and Tim Pappas drove the #54 Black Swan Racing entry. These were two of the more interesting looking racers because of the color finish on both cars. The Green Hornet car had a carbon fiber-look wrap on it while the entire Black Swan SLS had a chrome wrap. Pappas finished 5th in Race 1 on Saturday and 10th in Race 2 on Sunday. LeSaffre was 11th in both.
