On a the 12th & 13th of February, 2007 (a Monday & Tuesday), Champ Car held an all-teams test session at Motosport Ranch Houston in Angleton, Texas. It rained most of the first day but was nice and sunny the second. This was the second time the drivers had a chance to run their new Cosworth-powered Panoz DP01 Champ Cars before the start of the season. The first test had been at Sebring and a third would be held at Laguna Seca. Teams and drivers present were:

Drivers Jan Heylen, Mario Dominguez and Dan Clark were also present, but did not set foot in a race car.
