The first Shadow was raced in 1970 and looked like a rollerskate on steroids.   They got bigger each year and finally in 1974 Jackie Oliver won the Can-Am championship for Shadow.  All racers shown here have been restored to their original jet black Shadow paint scheme.

These are two different versions of the 1972 MkIII -- with and without front wing.   Car #102 was originally driven by Jackie Oliver and Bobby Allison.  (Yes, stockcar racer Bobby Allison.)   #101 was another Oliver car.  Fred Cziska is the driver here.

This is Jackie Oliver's 1973 racer.  "DN" in model name stands for team owner Don Nichols.
